Our Task Consists of Only Killing' - The Way Sudan's Vicious Paramilitary Group Carried out a Massacre

Warning: This Story Includes Explicit Descriptions of Killings.

Fighters laugh as they ride on the rear of a utility vehicle, hurrying by a line of multiple corpses and heading facing the sinking Sudanese sun.

"See this extensive accomplishment. Look at this act of mass destruction," a combatant shouts.

He smiles as he turns the recording device on his person and his companion combatants, their paramilitary insignia on display: "These people shall all die this way."

The men are rejoicing over a atrocity that relief organizations suspect claimed the lives of in excess of two thousand individuals in the Sudanese urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.

A Community Severed from the Globe

Following their control of the community under siege for nearly an extended period, from August the militia moved to consolidate its control and prevent access for the leftover inhabitants.

Orbital photography show that fighters began to erect a massive sand wall - a raised earthen wall - encircling the edges of el-Fasher, blocking roads and halting aid.

As the siege worsened, 78 individuals were murdered in an paramilitary strike on a mosque on mid-September, while the UN said fifty-three additional were murdered in drone and cannon strikes on a displacement camp in the autumn.

Graphic Recording Reveals Defenseless Individuals Executed

In the early morning on October 26th the paramilitary force conquered the last government positions and captured the primary base in the community, the headquarters of the Army Division, as the army retreated.

One of the most disturbing footage to emerge and studied showed the results of a massacre at a university building on the west of the urban area, where dozens dead bodies were observed strewn throughout the area.

An elderly person dressed in a robe sat by himself amid the victims. The individual looked to glance as a fighter equipped with a firearm moved down the steps towards the victim. Raising his weapon, the fighter released a one bullet at the individual, who collapsed to the ground motionless.

"How come is this one still breathing," one militiaman exclaimed. "Execute this one."

Space-based imagery captured on late October appeared to confirm that shootings were also carried out on the roads of el-Fasher, based on a report released by the university analysis team.

An witness who communicated reported the individual had witnessed "multiple of our relatives getting executed - these individuals were gathered in a single location and each one killed."

Paramilitary Leaders Seek to Carry Out Damage Control

Following the events that followed the atrocity, RSF chief conceded that his fighters had perpetrated "atrocities" and announced the events would be examined.

Included among apprehended was following a investigation detailing his executions. Carefully orchestrated and modified video published on the paramilitary's official messaging platform show him being taken into a cell at a jail on the outskirts of el-Fasher.

Simultaneously, the paramilitary force and connected social media profiles commenced trying to alter the account.

Posts depicting its fighters distributing supplies to civilians were circulated by some accounts, while the paramilitary's communications team published several videos allegedly to demonstrate the humane management of military detainees.

Despite the digital effort being employed by the paramilitary, their actions in al-Fashir have generated international condemnation.
